A new Administrator has been named for the CHRISTUS St. Micheal Hospital in Atlanta. Congratulations to Brett Kinman. Kinman has been the Interim Administrator since May 1, 2020.

There will be a free COVID-19 testing event this Thursday, July 16 at the Four States Fairgrounds and you do not need to have any symptoms to be tested. If you are wondering if you have COVID-19 but you might be asymptomatic this is where you can get tested.

The FDA just released a warning on 9 extremely toxic hand sanitizers, and the symptoms are serious. Please make sure you do not have any of these hand sanitizers as they could cause serious side effects including death. Please be careful. These need to be disposed of in hazardous waste containers. Do Not flush or put down the drain.

It may be a new month but the fact is there is still a need for blood donors. As the hospitals get back to doing elective surgeries the need for blood increases.  Also be sure to take advantage of getting a free COVID-19 Antibody Test when you donate through Sunday, June 14.
