Sandy Victims Furious at FEMA – Agency Won’t Rebuild Vacation Homes [POLL]
There seems to be some people extremely upset that FEMA won't offer any assistance in rebuilding their "second homes" that were lost, or damaged in Superstorm Sandy.

Photos of Hurricane Sandy flooded social media sites throughout the day Monday, with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter users in the storm's path posting dramatic photos of waves, flooding and downed trees. (Some are fake, by the way.)
In the Northeast, people are swarming to beg, borrow, steal and even purchase last-minute emergency supplies to prepare for the worst of Hurricane Sandy. However, many stores are running out of those items, leaving people to return home empty-handed.
As the entire East Coast prepares to get slammed by Hurricane Sandy, politicians from all affected states are taking necessary precautions to keep people safe. New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg is one of them.
New York, New Jersey and other coastal states announced evacuations of citizens living in low-lying coastal areas on Sunday, as Hurricane Sandy and an accompanying storm surge threatened the East Coast of the United States.
Frankenstorm—a nickname for the potential combination of current Category 1 Hurricane Sandy and other storm systems in the North Atlantic and over the continental United States—is almost here, and for much of the East Coast, that means it’s time to get ready for lots and lots of rain, wind, snow and general meteorological mayhem.
Nature’s force is at times awe-inspiring, but often downright scary. A woman in West Liberty, Kentucky experienced this first hand when she captured footage of a huge tornado heading towards her direction.
This is one of the stories in all of the Hurricane coverage that gave me a real sense of pride. Proud that the 3rd US Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard” will never forget the sacrifices and the respect owed, to not only the Tomb Of The Unknowns, but to all of the men and women that have fought and died for our country.
Hurricane Irene is storming, and some areas on the east coast are really getting slammed hard. High winds, LOTS of rain blowing over trees on houses, cars, and people. We remember when Rita came through town, and did lots of damage here (Even blew away part of the Fair & Rodeo…Remember?). However, if you are doing a weather report in an area where the storm is not that bad at the moment, and you are in Virginia… you can expect rednecks… and expect them to get NEKKID!
So, you can see it on most all TV channels, Hurricane Irene has her sights set on the East Coast. I know you have probably seen this stuff before, but it never hurts to recap what supplies you will need to survive a hurricane.
I just love Bret Michaels! This guy is everywhere!
Not only is he a rock star and a reality t.v. celeb, now he can add weather correspondent to his resume.
After everything we've seen in the past decade, it's hard not to worry at least a little bit that a major natural disaster could strike where you live. Unless you live underground in a concrete bunker. Which might be smart at this point.
