February 1, 2012 The teenager accused of killing a Texarkana mother and her two children will now be charged as an adult, which means that if she is convicted, she could receive life in prison. The death penalty is not an option because the suspect was a juvenile at the time of the crime.

December 29, 2011 Natalie Nichols has resigned from her office as Bowie County Clerk. Many say she was forced out, but either way, I doubt this will end all of the controversy surrounding the Bowie County Commissioners Court, and I feel in my bones that the problems in Bowie County politics are still in place.
