The Christmas season is underway! I've been seeing a lot of people posting pictures of their Christmas trees on Facebook and Oh, how pretty they are! But, now it's time for the BIG question! Do you have a real tree or artificial?
It's that "Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" once again - time to break out the decorations, the ornaments, the lights and most importantly the Christmas tree! If you are like me, I like to alternate between my faux pre-lit 8-foot spruce tree with a real pine tree.

The Maud Volunteer Fire Department has a day full of food and fun planned for this Sunday (December 2.) Starting at 11 a.m. they'll have a Baked Potato Dinner at the Maud School Cafeteria. The Maud Christmas Parade gets started at 2 p.m! Get the kids ready because they can visit with Santa after the parade at the Maud Community Center.
Bring your pets and kids out to have their photo made with Santa this Saturday at Petsmart in Texarkana, Texas and help out a local dog rescue. Muttley Crew Rescue is hosting the event.
