Great, looks like there is a "new" trend on social media. It's not funny and it's very concerning for any parent or family member with a teenager. The game is called 'The 48 Hour Challenge" where teens are encouraged to 'go missing' for 48 hours.

This weekend the temperatures will be cooler than normal and that means it'll be perfect weather for chili! This Saturday, October 28 you can check out some great chili at the 6th Annual Chili Cook-off just up the road at Self Creek Lodge and Marina on Lake Greeson in Kirby, Arkansas.

Times, they are a changing. The Boy Scouts announced yesterday that girls will be admitted in the fall of 2018. Some are against the idea and others are for it.

Here's a great sleepover event for kids this weekend at the Discovery Place Interactive Museum in Downtown Texarkana. It's a DinoSNORE for the kids and the unveiling of the 'Dinosaurs: Fossils Exposed Exhibit.'

It's officially autumn, but it sure doesn't feel like it. Fingers crossed it will soon feel like fall. We'll be pulling out the sweaters and boots. We'll also soon see the leaves changing color.  If you want to take a little drive into Arkansas you'll see some great fall colors soon. But where to go?

I love festivals especially ones that celebrate things that are a little out of the norm. This festival sounds like it's right up my alley. I mean, a Goat Festival? How can you not have fun?  The Arkansas Goat Festival takes place Saturday, October 7 from 10AM to 7PM in Perryville, AR located just northwest of Little Rock.

On Tuesday, the Riverfest, Inc. board of directors in Little Rock announced its decision to suspend its annual music festival, a tradition that celebrated 40 years with its most recent event in June, 2017.
