“The Dude” is Writing a Book
Looks like Jeff Bridges may have come up with a way to get a little more mileage out of "The Big Lebowski". He's writing a book titled "The Dude and the Zen Master".

We all know what the term M.I.L.F means, but do you know where the term originated? The movies. "American Pie" specifically. With "American Reunion" coming out in April, the folks at Break.com are having a M.I.L.F. contest.
Bullying is a big problem for kids today. I think more so then we were kids because of social networking. Think about it. Back in our day, we came across bullies at school, but then we went our safe haven – Home. Today, kids can still go home but face bullying 24/7 through text messaging and social networks.
I really didn't watch enough of the Oscars to say if Billy Crystal did a good job as host, or not. A lot of folks think he did a terrible job, and others (mostly the older folks that know who he is) thought he did great. The funny people at Jest.com, have put together a video with some of his least funny moments... and it made me laugh.
To be totally truthful, the wife and I were catching up on some tivo, when we paused, and went to live t.v., I wasn't really paying much attention until my wife said, "Is that Jennifer Lopez's nipple?"
The 2012 Oscars managed to include the expected and shocks all at the same time. Odds on favorite, ‘The Artist’, won five awards including Best Picture, Best Actor for Jean Dujardin and Best Director for Michel Hazanivicius. But ‘Hugo’ gave it a run for its money, also bringing home five awards (though none in the major categories).
There are a few movies opening this weekend that caught my attention... One has Jennifer Anniston staying at a hippie commune "Wanderlust", another has Amanda Seyfried hunting a serial killer in "Gone", but the movie I am most excited about seeing stars Active-Duty NAVY Seals hunting terrorists... "Act of Valor".
Who doesn’t love a good buddy flick? Maybe it’s because even when we’re down on our luck, our current romance has gone to hell, and our list of old flames looks like it came from America’s Most Wanted, most of us can usually take some comfort in the company of a good friend. Our pals know how to pick us up, cheer us on, and keep us from popping one too many Ambien.
There are only two new movies in wide release this weekend, but Texarkana is getting three movies.
Cool! A couple of years ago, Slash formed a horror film production company and it's called Slasher Films. How appropriate! Now, it looks like one of their movies has been picked up by Anchor Bay Entertainment. The film is titled "Nothing to Fear" and is based on the actual town of Stull, Kansas which, according to legend, is one of the seven gateways to hell.
