Cat Helps Lost Hiker Stay Warm [VIDEO]

Alright, so a dog is man's best friend, but a cat is a lost hiker's best friend! Margaret Page was lost for three and half weeks in New Mexico’s Gila National Forest. She's safe. Although she was found malnourished, she can thank her cat for saving her life.

She cuddled up with her cat Miya in a sleeping bag at night when temperatures dropped below freezing.

“Her cat was in better shape than she was,” said Marc Levesque, New Mexico State Police Search and Rescue incident commander. “Her cat was also hunting. [Page] ran out of food a while back.”
