Burglary Arrests

Two men are behind bars, charged with a residential burglary.Texas side Police responded to an alarm call in the 400 block of Connella Street. Officers soon found two suspects fitting a description given by a witness in the 900 block of Richmond Road.

Authorities say items allegedly taken from the Connella address were recovered as well has a handgun.

19 year old La Domonique Harris and 21 year old Damaciell Cox, both of Texarkana, Texas were arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation. Harris also charged with Failure to Identify and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon.

Bond has been set at $42,000 for Harris and $30,000 for Cox. The case remains under investigation
