Yes, this is a little gruesome and yes, it's also fascinating!

I am a geek with a capitol G and this kind stuff just fascinates the heck out of me. Usually all you see in a bug zapper is the spark and then the carnage at the bottom of the bin if there is one.

These two gents are known as the Slow Mo Guys, they take everyday things and video tape them at extremely fast frame rates so that when you slow the motion down, the picture is still very clear. Believe me you can easily spend hours watching their videos. I know I have.
