Mixed feelings to start, but judging from this trailer, the biopic of the band Queen and their amazing lead singer Freddie Mercury looks pretty good. You have to understand where I'm starting on this movie, I am a fan of Queen, I've seen them twice in concert, the first time in 1977 at the Summit in Houston, more recently in Dallas with Adam Lambert singing lead vocals. My wife, however, is one of the biggest Queen fans like, ever. So believe me when I say the bar is set very high on this one at my house.

This film has the potential to be great, as it should be considering that it is telling the story of one of the greatest rock bands ever, but it started off with that dirtbag Sacha Baron Cohen in the lead role and we were horrified. Rightfully so, this is one of those roles that not just anyone can do. If you're going to tell the tale, make sure the right people are in those parts, and it looks like they have done a terrific job with Rami Malek taking over the lead role as Freddie, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor, Gwilym Lee is Brian May and Joseph Mazzello plays John Decon.

I have seen nothing but the trailer, but it looks like they have pulled off the movie we were hoping for, fingers still crossed.

Can't wait to see it.
