Everybody knows I love the Beatles and have since the age of six.

Beatle fans all over the world dreamed of a reunion until John Lennon's death in 1980. We know a reunion isn't possible, but what about the sons of the Beatles?

The closest we ever came to a reunion was back in 1995, when the surviving members released "The Beatles Anthology" documentary and the single "Free as a Bird". Then we lost George Harrison back in 2001. Wow, has it really been that long ago? :(

Paul McCartney's son James was recently interviewed by the BBC and they asked how he felt about forming The Beatles - The Next Generation with the other Beatles sons:

"I don't think it's something that Zak wants to do. Maybe Jason [another of Starr's sons and also drummer] would want to do it. I'd be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it."

Since the interview, James has said he was just thinking out loud. I'm sure the reason that Zak Starkey (Ringo's) son, wouldn't be interested is because he's all ready made a name for himself as a talented drummer for Oasis and The Who.

I personally am on the fence on this one. To actually form a band? I don't know. I think it would be better just to catch an unexpected jam session.  What do you think?
