Back To School Safety

Its starts in less than two weeks and within three weeks all area students will be back in school.It’s not too early to start thinking about and practicing safe driving in and around school zones. Authorities will have extra eyes on school zones to keep our children safe.

You should remember to drive at or below the posted speed limit inside and near the school zones. Keep your distractions to a minimum and do not text or talk on your cell phones. Remember to never pass a school bus that is stopped an has its red lights flashing. Watch for kids especially younger ones crossing the street and darting between traffic and be diligent to see and observe crossing guards signals.

Lets make the 2012-2013 a safe and accident free school year in our area.
