Ringo Starr may have stopped signing items for fans a few years ago, but the legendary Beatles drummer has autographed 25 specially designed jackets that he's donated to a benefit auction for the WaterAid charity.  The jackets will be available for purchase on eBay starting Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET, and are being sold in conjunction with the second annual #GivingTuesday initiative that encourages people to contribute money to charities they support.

The cotton Timberland-brand jackets are khaki colored and feature an original print created by Starr on the back, in addition to his signature.  The items are available in men's medium, large and extra-large sizes.  Buyers also will be able to purchase the jackets outright for a set price by using eBay's "buy it now" feature.

Starr is a longtime supporter of WaterAid, an international organization that seeks to help people in underprivileged areas by educating them about hygiene and providing access to safe water and toilets.

"I believe in my heart that everyone should have clean water," says Ringo in a statement.  "Two thousand kids die every day from the lack of safe drinking water and it's time to say 'enough!'  That's why I am asking people to join me in showing the world we care this holiday season by supporting WaterAid's work to help the world's poorest communities gain access to clean water."

Bidding on the jackets will be open until December 13.
