The Texarkana, Ark., Police Department reports that over the last few days, investigators with its Criminal Investigation Division have been working with Bowie County Sheriff’s Office investigators to locate suspects and evidence in several burglaries and thefts recently reported in both Miller and Bowie Counties.

Today, May 8, two suspects, Lane Adcock, 19, and Timothy Burton, 19, were located in a stolen vehicle on McClure Lane by BCSO investigators. The suspects attempted to elude investigators, which resulted in minor collision with a TAPD vehicle.

Both Adcock and Burton were taken into custody and charged with "Theft by Receiving." Burton was additionally charged with "Possession of a Weapon by Certain Person." Investigators recovered more than a dozen stolen weapons including handguns and assault rifles, several rounds of ammunition, and two televisions inside the vehicle.

Texarkana Ark., investigators are working with BCSO and TTPD to solve additional burglaries and thefts at this time.
