Arkansas Side City Board Meets Tonight

Texarkana, Arkansas City Board of Directors meets this evening beginning at 6:30 at City Hall.The board will hear from Mayor Wayne Smith on a request for each board member to hold a special meeting in their respective ward concerning the special bond election in June.

The city leaders would like to have voters pass a bond issue for street repairs.

There will also be a closed executive session as well. The public is invited to attend the open portion of tonight’s meeting.
