I am extremely proud of our student-athletes and what they have done up to this point; however, I want this to be expected each and every year along with the opportunity to become Academic All-Americans, which would be the icing on the cake.  It is a great day to be an Eagle.

The A&M-Texarkana Eagles are seeded fifth out of six teams in the tournament and will play Fisher College of Boston, Massachusetts, which has a 12-4 record entering the tournament.

The winner of Wednesday’s match will play on Thursday, Nov. 12, with the championship game set for Saturday, Nov. 14, at 4PM  On Tuesday, all participating teams will attend a banquet in their honor.

“This is the first year for A&M-Texarkana programs to be eligible for postseason play, so it is quite an accomplishment for A&M-Texarkana student-athletes and Coach Don Koontz,” said Michael Galvan, director of athletics.

"I am extremely proud of our student-athletes and what they have done up to this point; however, I want this to be expected each and every year along with the opportunity to become Academic All-Americans, which would be the icing on the cake.  It is a great day to be an Eagle."
