The Bowie County Master Gardeners and Texas A&M University-Texarkana will present the program “Preserving the Harvest” on Monday, July 9, 2018.  The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held from 6PM until 8PM in room 306 of A&M-Texarkana’s Science and Technology Building.

According to a press release, the program will feature tips and advice on how to best store and preserve your fruits and vegetables and is being presented by Texas Master Gardener Cheryl Mapston. Cheryl is retired from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and can give advice on how to enjoy and stretch the life of your garden harvest.
