The Texarkana Texas City Council has set a vote concerning the sale of certain alcoholic beverages.The council has called for the election to be held on the same day as this Fall's general election which will be Tuesday November 4th.

Registered voters of the city will decide whether to allow the sale of beer and wine at grocery and convenience stores inside the city limits.

Voters have rejected such measures twice since 2006. Voters in neighboring Nash, Texas recently approved the selling of beer and wine inside their city limits.
