What is AC/DC doing?  Are they working on the new album? Negative.  Are they planning a tour? Nope! Are the releasing band branded board games... yeah they did that... but what I was trying to get to was their WINE. It's AC/DC the Wine!

The Rockers from down-under are putting out AC/DC The Wine this week in Australia.

There's Back in Black Shiraz, Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon, Hells Bells Sauvignon Blanc and You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato.

The bottle labels are shots from classic AC/DC album covers.

The band has partnered with the Warburn Estate winery for this custom label line of booze.

The band's PR team bills its latest release as,

Styled for maximum enjoyment, whilst working your way through your catalogue of AC/DC albums.

Fan reaction ranged from envy to amusement to horror.

"Fantastic -- any chance of getting the wines in Germany?" a fan posted on ACDCfans.net.

"Only a red and white? Disappointed not to see A Whole Lotta Rose." posted by another.

Then there was another: "how sad. good iconic band sells out to become wino's."

AC/DC joins a number of other rock bands that have launched their own wine collection, including KISS, MOTÖRHEAD, WHITESNAKE, QUEENSRŸCHE and WARRANT.

AC/DC put it together in 1973, releasing its first album, "High Voltage," in 1975.

The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003.

Right now they are probably sipping wine... and eating cheese.
