Accidental Shooting Under Investigation

The Texarkana Arkansas Police are investigating a weekend apparent accidental shooting which left an area teen dead.Officers responded Saturday afternoon to a home in the 300 block of Park Place Street in reference to a 911 call of a shooting. Authorities found a 14 year old juvenile male who had sustained a gunshot wound.

The child was pronounced dead on scene by Deputy Coroner Jan Gann. The body has been sent to Little Rock for an autopsy. The incident is being investigated as an apparent accidental shooting.
