A Request From the Family of Officer William Sprague

The Texarkana Texas Police say the family of Officer William Jason Sprague have a request.They have requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association 1701 North Beauregard Street in Alexandria, Virginia 22311-1733.

Also authorities say you can make donations to the Sprague family at any branch of Red River Federal Credit Union or at Morris Sheppard Federal Credit Union. The accounts will be in the name of Stephanie Sprague.

Office Sprague died after begin struck by a vehicle, while performing in the line of duty. A suspect is in custody and is facing various charges.

Visitation for the family will be this evening at First Baptist Church Moores Lane in Texarkana, Texas. Funeral services will be at the church tomorrow at 10 a.m.
