Dale Earnhardt Jr. Will Look Like Superman at Michigan’s NASCAR Race
As difficult as saving the world can be, Superman never had to worry about anyone rubbing his bumper at 200 mph.

From 1959 to 1992, NASCAR legend Richard Petty won 200 races, setting a career record that is pretty much unmatchable for active drivers. Still, today’s Sprint Cup racers compose arguably the strongest field of competition that the sport has ever known.
While stars such as Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson may never reach Petty’s incredible peak, they have managed to accomplish feats that eluded even The King. Let’s take a look at the five winningest drivers on today’s Sprint Cup circuit:
Driver of the number 22 Penske Dodge, A.J. Allmendinger has been suspended by NASCAR for failing a drug test given earlier this week. He was replaced at the last minute by Sam Hornish Jr. in the Coke Zero 400 Saturday in Daytona.
Winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Toyota/Save Mart 350 race at Sanoma Sunday afternoon was #15 Clint Bowyer in a Toyota. Tony Stewart finished second, followed by Kurt Busch third both in Chevrolets.
Ending one of the most talked about losing streaks in recent NASCAR history, Dale Earnhardt Jr. got a win in the Quicken Loans 400 in Michigan by more than five seconds ending his 143 race drought.
I cannot stand Kurt Busch. Fact of business, I prefer to call him Kurt Douche. I thought he might straighten up some after Jimmy Spencer punched him in the mouth, and broke some teeth.
At the end of the Aaron's 499 it was Brad Keselowski taking his #2 Miller Lite Dodge to victory lane, marking the first time a Dodge was in victory lane at Talladege in since Dave Marcis 36 years ago in 1976.
With a restart, and only 8 laps to the checkered flag, everybody was hoping it would be Earnhardt Jr., but Kyle Busch was able to pull away from him to get the win, his fourth straight at Richmond International Raceway.
I for one am glad to see it… Kurt Busch is unemployed! I posted the video of him acting a fool at the season finale in Homestead, and was just disgusted by the way he treated Dr. Jerry Punch. Turns out Roger Penske was pretty upset by it too, and cut Kurt Busch loose after 6 years with the team.
It's no secret that I do not like Kurt Busch, and I will always be one of Jimmy Spencer's biggest fan because he wouldn't put up with that dudes smart-ass attitude, and punched him in the mouth. Fact of business, I don't like either of the Busch brothers, Kurt, or Kyle, and I have never met a fan of either one of them. After seeing this behind the scenes video of Kurt cussing Dr. Jerry Punch out, I want somebody to punch him in the mouth again.
So, this was the first NASCAR Sprint Cup Races at Kentucky Speedway. The 1.5 mile track was built 11 years ago with hopes of bringing a top series race, and Saturday night those hopes became reality with the Quaker State 40o, and it's a victory that Kyle Busch won't soon forget.
Kurt Busch was able to stay out ahead of all of the beating, and banging behind him Sunday afternoon in Sonoma at Infineon Raceway to win the Toyota / Savemart 350!
