9th Annual Gathering of Authors Set For October 13

It's almost time for the 9th Annual Gathering of Authors. If you love to read you don't want to miss this event that will take place Saturday, October 13 from 10AM to 3PM.

All the fun will take place at the Holiday Inn Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center. Special guests Todd and Colton Burpo the real family from the movie "Heaven is For Real".

The Gathering of Authors is an annual charity event promoting childhood literacy benefiting St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Arkansas Children's Hospital.

There will be a charity dinner on Friday evening October 12 at Williams Memorial located at 4000 Moores Lane in Texarkana, Texas in the Banquet Hall) you will need to  RSVP.  The dinner is $25 per person and $12.50 for kids and is tax deductible.
