Back on this day in 1981, President Ronald Reagan was shot in the chest outside a Washington, D.C., hotel by John Hinckley, Jr. and luckily survived the assassination attempt. Who could forget his grace and wit afterward? Man, I do miss that man! 
I was in 8th grade and I remember the teacher rolling a t.v. into class so we could stay up to date on the news. Do you remember what you were doing?
